The school is located on the forested Albion Ridge Road 3 miles east of Highway 1. The school is one of the few "one room school houses" left in California. The solar design feature with its solar heated floors and plenty of natural lighting has been appreciated by many and believed to be very conducive to learning. The size of the school is approximately 5,000 square feet and is located on an 8-acre property that is surrounded by trees. This school has served students since 1998.
