The staff at Mendocino Sunrise High School recognizes that each of our students comes with individual needs. Every effort is made to help each student meet his/her own needs and achieve success. We can help any student who wants to be helped but the responsibility for achievement is placed on the student, and progress is seen as credits awarded for satisfactory performance.

We believe that the school alone cannot provide the pupils with all the instruction, and examples needed to achieve the students' goals. Parents, school, and community involvement is need to accomplish this.
