The Mendocino Unified School District Board of Trustees has five members representing different areas of the District and one student trustee:

Board members serve 4 year terms and are elected in at-large elections in even numbered years. Prior to 2017, at- large elections were held in odd numbered years.
In November 2026, the Albion, Mendocino, and Elk areas will be up for election. Please go to links from Board menu item in left margin for information on Board Policies and Meetings.
In November 2028, the Caspar and Comptche areas will be up for re-election.
