Mendocino K-8 School is now enrolling students in our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten programs for the new school year. Bring proof of residency and immunizations to the office and you will receive a pre-registration packet. 

Students are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten if they turn 5 between September and May. 

Transitional kindergarten and kindergarten school of attendance is determined by residency. Deadline to request an intra-district transfer is January 1st for the following school year. 

Mendocino K-8's transitional kindergarten program will run from 8:30 - 12:15, Monday - Friday, throughout the entire year! Our kindergarten program runs from 8:30 - 2:20. Community Center of Mendocino plans to provide after-school creative play sessions for the transitional kindergarten release and classes for the kindergarten release. If you have any questions, please contact us at 937-0515.
