I started my educational career in the Mendocino Unified School District at age four, traveled south for four years to earn my Bachelors Degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, then ventured back to the north coast. Soon after I earned a teaching credential from Dominican University I was given the opportunity to teach kindergarten through fifth grade PE at the very elementary school that I attended years ago. I’ve played competitive soccer, basketball, softball, and volleyball throughout my life and have personally thrived from those experiences. As a perpetual athlete, student, and teacher, I feel so privileged to help the children in our community grow up with the benefits and opportunities that physical fitness and team sports have to offer.
