Students should access assignments via their Google Classroom accounts.

Through inquiry labs and problem solving, students explore principles of kinematics; Newton’s laws of motion; torque; rotational motion and angular momentum; gravitation and circular motion; work, energy, and power; linear momentum; oscillations, mechanical waves and sound; introduction to electric circuits. In this course, students develop the critical thinking and reasoning skills to engage in the science practices used throughout their study of algebra-based AP Physics and subsequent course work in science disciplines. The course provides students with a deep understanding of physics principles and the subsequent ability to reason about physical phenomenon using important science process skills such as explaining causal relationships, applying and justifying the use of mathematical routines, designing experiments, analyzing data and making connections across multiple topics within the course.
